I opened Oradent's first location in 2012 after ten years working in practices where the average appointment felt rushed, transactional, and a little cold. Patients weren't the problem — the system was. Fifteen-minute slots don't leave room for someone to ask the question they've been sitting on for a year.
So we built something slower on purpose. Every new patient gets a real consultation before we touch anything. Every treatment plan gets explained in plain language, with the cost attached, before you agree to it. It sounds simple. It's also the single biggest reason people tell us they finally stopped avoiding the dentist.
Fifteen years and four dentists later, that's still the whole model.
